The Story Behind

Hey there! We’re Vincent and Joanne, a pair of busy parents with big jobs (banking for her, tech for me) and even bigger dreams of showing our kids the world.

We have two awesome kids—Walter (10), our curious adventurer who wants to know everything, and Sheryl (8), our resident artist who’d rather draw a dragon on a castle wall than listen to us talk about it.

As a family, we’ve always tried to carve out time for travel. We’d pack our bags, hop on planes, and find ourselves standing in front of some of the most incredible heritage sites in the world.

But here’s the thing:
We realized we were just... standing there.
Taking some photos. Buying souvenirs.
And—if we’re honest—not really knowing the stories behind those places.

Sure, we knew Mont-Saint-Michel was old. But how old? What was the legend behind it? Why did the monks build it on a rock in the middle of the sea?

We’d scroll Google for a few minutes, maybe read a Wikipedia blurb, but with work deadlines and school schedules, we just didn’t have the time to become “history experts” for our kids.

And frankly, we were winging it—a lot.

That’s when the idea for Wonder Explorer hit us.

We thought:
What if we could make heritage sites come alive for families like us?
